Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Curt Dual Hitch Ball Attachment for the Rebellion XD Adjustable Ball Mount. Now this dual ball attachment will mount onto your Curt Rebellion XD Adjustable shank. Now the Rebellion XD product, we do sell separately on our website. Now this is the ball mount portion of it.
The pins and clips that hold this into place on the Rebellion, they are not included. We do sell those separately. The pins are listed on this product page as a related product or part number CU88FR. And the clip is also listed it's part number CU28FR. And basically the Rebellion XD accessory has this built-in anti-rattle feature right here that's located in the channel on the backside of this ball mount.
It's an integrated rubber dampener, that when it is installed, offers a nice anti-rattle device. So basically, when this is put into the channel, put your pins in, pin it into place, and then when you use it, that rubber dampener will keep any noise from happening or from any rattling.The ball mount itself is constructed from cast steel for optimum strength. You can see it is protected with a nice dark gray teridium finish. The balls themselves are a Chrome trailer ball, have a 2 and 5/16 diameter, or you can flip it over for 2 inch diameter. Now the weight capacity will depend on the ball size you use.
If you end up using the two inch ball, that'll give you the 10,000 pound gross towing weight capacity, and 1,000 pound tongue weight capacity. You flip this over and installed it and use the larger 2 and 5/16 diameter ball, gives you a 15,000 pound gross towing weight capacity and a 1500 pound tongue weight capacity. Now the overall height on this from the bottom here to the very top, it's probably right at 6 and 3/4 inches. And then the measurement from the center of these pin holes to the center of the ball hole is going to be right at 4 and 1/8 inches, but that should do it for the review on the Curt Dual Hitch Ball Mount Attachment for the Rebellion XD Adjustable Ball Mount.
