The Heavy Duty (HD) axle has a stronger shaft and TPEE boots that are better than OEM axles. The Xtreem Duty (XD) is 30% stronger than OEM axles and includes a thicker shaft for riding hard and racing. The XD is often used on lifted vehicles. The Xtended axle is a specialty product for those with long travel suspensions. It includes the same quality features of the HD axle but is longer to accomodate different builds.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this GSP Custom Fit Extreme Duty CV Front left Axle Assembly. Now this is going to let you upgrade your vehicle's front left OEM setup on your 2016 to 2020 Can-Am Defender HD10, excluding the MR. Then your 2019 to 2022 Can-Am Defender H10 MR. Then finally, your 2016 to 2021 Can-Am Defender HD8.
On custom fit parts such as this axle, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Just input the year, make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. This will be able to be used on lifted vehicles and other applications. And I also wanted to show you what this is the direct replacement for. So you see that information there on your screen.

So this thicker center shaft is 30% stronger than OEMs and so that's gonna make this a great option for lifted vehicles. The oversized CV joints are gonna let you climb rough terrain and crawl over obstacles. And the flexible and tough TPEE boots are going to resist tearing and cracking. And this arrives just as you see it here, preassembled for simple installation.
And this is going to come already packed with high performance moly grease to reduce friction. And as you probably already saw here at the end, the axle nut is included with this. So the compressed axle assembly length is 28.23 inches. The inboard spline quantity is 21 and the outboard spline quantity is 29. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.
