Hooking up is simple—the automatically latching jaw closes as soon as the king pin slides in, and the handle locks itself in place. The precisely laser-cut, wraparound single-hook jaw design holds the king pin tight to reduce rattle and give you a solid, secure connection. Once locked, the hitch stays that way until you’re ready to release it, making coupling quick and dependable every time.
The dual-pivot head moves both front-to-back and side-to-side to help limit chucking and ease hookup on uneven ground. With 4" of front-to-back adjustment and three height settings from 16-1/4" to 18-3/4", it’s easy to dial in level towing and keep good clearance between bed rails and trailer overhang. That extra movement makes highway miles smoother and long trips more comfortable behind the wheel.
The base drops right into the factory receiver pucks and secures with top-mounted mounting posts—no binding or complicated alignment needed. When you’re done towing, just lift out the hitch to get a clean, open bed for hauling. The base weighs 94 lbs and the removable hitch plate comes in at 42 lbs, so breaking it down makes removal much easier for one person to handle.

So far so good. Assembly requires careful following of the well documented instructions. Adjustability is great! Only used once so far. Well designed hitch and unhitch mechanism.
The lock arm will not lock. The bracket that is welding my on is in the wrong spot.

It was delivered on time, the install was simple and it worked great.
Installed the PullRite OEX hitch last month in my new 2025 Ram 2500 and went on our first trip last week, 347 miles round trip thru the hills and mountains of Pennsylvania and New York to Cooperstown for a week of baseball.
I installed the hitch by myself with the 4” offset away from the truck cab. It took me about 1 hour with double checking leg adjustment and the torque on each bolt. I used the highest setting to start with. When I hooked up to check clearance, I found the trailer was too high and lowered to the middle setting. This gave me a level trailer and 6” clearance between my truck rail and the trailer.
I am pulling a Grand Design Reflection 295RL with a Turning Point pin box that is locked out at the PullRite hitch. Between the Turning Point hitch and the OEX offset I have more turning clearance the ever before.
Pulling the trailer was excellent. I experienced no chucking. Hooking up and disconnecting was smooth and easy.
Overall- I’m very happy and glad I got this PullRite hitch.
We upgraded our camper experience to 5th wheel model. The PullRite OEX Super, for my Ram 3500 Dully with factory prep puck package, was all I had hoped it would be. The assembly went very well and the directions were good. Only issue was that I had to modify one of the cotter pin securing because the castle nut was deeper than the hole but no problem after that. This model uses a "slam latch" coupler that makes connecting extremely easy. When towing down the road, the feel of the camper was like it was part of the truck and I had no chucking feeling. The camper was very secure to the hitch/truck and no slop in the attachment when accelerating or slowing/stopping. The camper pulled directly behind the truck and never felt any type of swing and cornering was no issue. I would recommend the PullRite OEX Super for anyone who has a 5th wheel camper.
Shipping was spot on. Purchase experience was as expected. Hitch is as described and install was good. Just to note, not all posts insert in pucks as easy as others.
I like the fact that I can take this hitch out of my truck and put it back in by myself. This is something that cannot be done with most fifth wheel hitches.
Fits nicely in my 2026 GMC 3500 w/standard box. Currently setup over the axle (forward) setting, not sure if the 4" offset will work with my pinbox. In only an approximate 20 mile test drive with my 5th wheel noticeable was the quietness of the hitch, but also, because there are no damping features, a stiff ride. Time will tell.

The hitch has been working out very well for me in my 2024 3500 Silverado. Note that I can pull forward and crank a sharp turn but I am NOT able to reverse into a sharp 90. This will vary on the corner clearance of your fifth wheel. So, yes it works with the standard 6 box but not to 90 degrees.
