Where on Trailer to Find VIN Information

i recently purchased an enclosed cargo trailer from an individual i would like to make sure its a shop made trailer and if there are no numbers on the tounge of the trailer were else on the trailer would i look for serial ,vin numbers would i look ?

If it's not located on the outside of the frame members that make up the trailer tongue, it might be on the inside of the frame members, so you might want to check there first. Then, examine the rest of the frame.

I've also seen the information on the front of the trailer. If the trailer has a toolbox, propane bottles or other obstructions on the tongue, they might be covering the VIN plate.

The serial number and VIN are typically printed on a label or plate placed somewhere on the trailer's pole tongue, although it could possibly found elsewhere on the trailer frame, possibly on the inside edge of the frame so it's more…

What kind of info are you trying to find out? The VIN for your trailer should be on the bill of sale so if you know where that is you can use that. Otherwise your best bet to get specific info on your boat trailer would be to contact the manufacturer…
