How To Find Bearing Replacement For Harbor Freight Trailer

Question:

Do you know what size bearings fit the Harbor Freight 5002 trailer? My instruction manual does not specify the dimensions. Any ideas? Thanks,

In order to find the best replacement bearings and seals for your Harbor freight Trailer, you will need to remove the wheel and hub and pull the bearings, seals, and races off your spindle. I have attached a photo that shows where you can find the numbers on those items.

If you are not able to find the numbers on these items, you will need to take some measurements of the spindle with a precision instrument like a digital caliper in the locations as shown in the attached photo.

Typically, Harbor Freight uses non-standard size bearings and it may be difficult to find any that would work for you. If you wish to give the dimensions, we can make a recommendation for a replacement axle that would work on your trailer.

I have also included a helpful article that shows how to replace the bearings, races and seals you can check out.

Hello, can you help me find replacement bearings and seals for my harbor freight trailer? The numbers on the bearings and races are the same it says 30205 on one end and HCH on the opposite. On the seals Im not sure if its: TC 30 52 10 or TC305210 or TC 305210. The seal ring has shallow grooves cut out along the outside face. The grooves are evenly distributed like how a pizza would be cut, and between each groove it has TC on one, 30 on the next, 52 after that and then 10. Does this help?

The 30205 number you found is a good bearing number, but unfortunately it's not one that we offer. I believe this bearing size is specific to Harbor Freight Trailer so your best option will be to source the right replacement bearings and seals from them directly. Your other option would be to replace the hubs with ones that have more common bearing sizes.
