I have a Sears X Cargo XL Rooftop carrier. My wife decided to take a trip into the garage with the suv not realizing the clearance was not high enough. She keeps my life interesting! I was able to pound out the indented front and sides. Now I need to replace both of the lid lifting arms on either side of the unit. I would need to replace Where can I purchase these and what are the names of the parts? Thanks!

Hey Jon, sorry to hear about your roof box! We recently lost one of ours here to a garage as well. I'm not entirely sure which hinges you have in yours but the two most common for the older Sears are the Replacement Lid Lifter Hinge for Thule Cargo Boxes # TH14936 and Replacement Spring Hinge for SportRack Explorer or SkyLine Cargo Box # SR03810. If neither of these match feel free to send me some pictures and I'll see what else is available.
