Replacement Leaf Springs for Trailer With 25-1/4" Flat Leaf Spring

Question:

I am looking for new leaf springs, the ones on my trailer are so flat they are almost W shaped. Unloaded they measure 25 1/4 eye to eye….since they are so flat, im wondering if they were originally 24 7/8. It looks like the 24 7/8 is a more popular spring. Any suggestions would be appreciated. They are 6000 lb 5 leaf

Hey Rusty! Can you measure the flat length? Check out the help article below which explains how to measure. This is the best solution for worn out leaf springs. Realistically they're probably a little shorter than 24-7/8" which means we might not carry a suitable replacement. The flat measurement of a 24-7/8" leaf spring like the # e64SR would be 26-3/8" since B in the diagram below is 13-3/16" long. This is quite a bit longer than your current 25-1/4" measurement.

Thanks, Robin. I did the flat measurement and it came out exactly 13 3/16 I ordered the 24 7/8 Leaf Springs, installed them last night and they work perfect thank you so much for your help.
