Wiring Diagram for Dual Path Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System

Question:
Can you provide more information about the wiring diagrams for the airlift gauge and kit? The images pic 4, specifically show cut white, black, red and green wires, but the AirLift instructions show a harness with red + green jumpered together to ignition switched +12v. Im trying to fix an extremely poor installation where the wires and hoses were left at stock length and bunched together and zip-tied then shoved into a too-small space. I want to cut the wires and pressure lines to appropriate length. The installer violated the 1inch bend radius and its a mess under the dash. I bought a complete new kit to fix the mess. A description of the functions of pink wires off the relay would be also helpful. It appears the system operates off of a switched ground and not switched hot, is this correct? The stock gauge light bulb is super-bright and should really be connected to the dimmable instrument panel dimmer, and not hot-wired to full brightness. Is the red wire the bulb light? If so, can that wire be left unconnected, or potentially be connected to the dimmer or maybe have a resistor added in series?

Hey Joe,
The easiest way to install your replacement harness is to unplug one wire at a time and replace it with your new wiring harness. With that being said, I definitely can appreciate just wanting to unplug everything and start fresh.
I'm attaching the wiring diagram for the Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System # AL25856 so you can see exactly what functions are associated with what wires from your harness.
As far as the back-lighting of the gauge goes, it isn't designed to be connected to a dimmer so I can't guarantee that will work but it's worth a try. I hate when I have really bright lights on my dash too so I can definitely relate to what you described. The dimmer switch on your instrument panel would be your best bet.
