Do You Have a Class V Hitch for My 2003 Ford Excursion?

Updated 11/17/2025 | Published 12/03/2024

Question:

I am looking to replace my trailer hitch on 2003 Ford Excursion and wanted to see if you had a class V option? Not that I want to tow that heavy but for the thickness it looks like they have in the metal. Is there any that would match frame with and preferably align with mounting holes? Thanks in advance!

Hello Kyle.

I am very sorry but we do not have a Class V hitch for the 2003 Ford Excursion.

We do however have a Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2" # C14011 which is a custom fit to your Excursion. This hitch will line up directly to the holes in your frame, and requires zero drilling for installation. The hitch is rated for 1,200 pound tongue weight, and 12,000 pound towing capacity. Make sure to check your owners manual to see what Ford says you can tow, just because the hitch is rated for that much, does not mean the vehicle is made to tow that much.

Let me know what you decided to go with =)

Hey Kyle, did the Curt Class IV hitch line up well with the frame on your Excursion? Knowing how the fit turned out could really help others looking for a similar upgrade.
