Published 03/28/2024 >
Question:
Im looking to replace an Atwood G6A-8E with an on-demand hot water heater. The current unit is 12.5” High X 16” Wide X 17” Deep. The door is 14.5” x 18”. I do not know the actual depth available in the cavity. What do you have that would fit that space? Thank you. Rick.

Hi Rick, thanks for the question and the tankless water heater that is closest in dimensions to that is the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR48SR.
The # FR48SR requires a cut out of at least 12-3/4", a height of at least 12-5/8" and a depth of at least 23-1/2" so you do need to find the actual depth to ensure a fit. The door on this unit is 16-1/8" tall x 18-1/8" wide so some alterations to the door opening are going to have to be made, but this is going to be true of any new heater you get.
