Why Is My Winch Sparking When It's Hooked Up to My Lawnmower Battery
Question:
Getting spark when hooking winch to the battery on my Lt2000 what could be wrong every thing should be hooked up right

That sounds like it's not grounded properly, so it's jumping to ground itself through the case to the closest grounded spot.
I recommend checking your ground cable for continuity, then check that wherever you have it grounded is a clean solid ground.
I'd also check all the cables and connections to make sure they're in good condition and not corroded or rusted. If all the wiring checks out, and the ground checks out, I'd check the solenoid with a meter # PT89ZR to make sure it's working properly.
