If the display of your Furrion fireplace is showing 88 then that would indicate it is overheating but if you aren't seeing that and it is just not working at all it most likely has an internal problem and would need to get replaced.

Overheating most commonly occurs if the vent air intake atop the unit and the mesh on the front of the fireplace is partially or fully obstructed.

Once you've checked the intake/outlet and removed any obstructions, unplug the fireplace for 15-20 minutes to allow the logic board to reset. Furrion says that turning off the unit at the switch isn't always enough to reset the unit.

Also, if the unit is running in a 40° or below environment, the fan can overheat since it'll be constantly running. The fireplace isn't meant to take the place of a furnace, it's meant to supplement an existing heat source.

I have a FURRION fireplace installed in my camper and now when I turn it on it just blinks and than turn off. The controls do not light up. Can you tell me how to fix the problem? Chuck

@Charles Well hopefully you can unplug it and plug it back in and a hard reset will clear that. Otherwise you'll need to replace the unit.
