Question:
With the EXO system, if I want to have the cargo box and the ability to carry bikes, with the swing out, what components do I need? Also, when carrying the bikes, how difficult is it to get the bikes up on the rack?

We do have the Yakima EXO Swing Away 2 Bike Rack w/ Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y34ZR which contains everything you need to carry 2 bikes up to 40lbs each. This kit consists of the SwingBase # Y34VR, TopShelf # Y94VR, GearLocker # Y44VR and DoubleUp # Y24VR if you already have part of the EXO system.
The difficulty of loading the bikes will vary depending on the height of your receiver, weight of the bikes, and your height and strength. Having the base swung out does make it easier to load bikes as it will allow you to load the 1st bike from the back of the carrier with a 2nd person.
