I do have some options for you but most of our marine spare tire carriers are zinc plated, not galvanized or stainless. That said, there should not really be any issues with this and the aluminum. I recommend the Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier part # FHDSTC0101 and Offset Trailer Spare Tire Carrier by Dutton-Lainson part # DL22120. Please note, the frame is a bit wide for these so you may need to find some longer bolts but other than that they should fit great.

I have a similar question. I have a black metal spare tire carrier left over from salvaging a wrecked Tractor Supply utility trailer. It is NOT aluminum, so will it be harmful to my new aluminum trailer since it’s a different metal? I have given it a nice paint job to keep it from rusting. Thanks. Vince
