Question:

I have a question regarding a 5th wheel hitch set up. I have a 2022 Ram 2500 megacab truck. I want to install a superglide 5th wheel hitch but unsure if anything will fit due to the megacab. I have a 64 bed. Any advise would be great. Thanks,

The cab size really doesn't matter as much as the length of the bed when determining the compatibility of a 5th wheel trailer hitch. Since you have a short bed you will need a sliding hitch, like the PullRite SuperGlide you referenced, in order to gain enough clearance to make a 90 degree turn.

The only thing you need is some rails to mount the hitch to in your bed. If your hitch is compatible with ISR (Industry Standard Rails) then you can use the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVK2602.

We don't carry the PullRite brand so I don't have all the specifics on their hitches but I do know there are some outliers that require special brackets if the hitch isn't ISR rated. If this is the case for you then you'll want to find the correct kit through PullRite.

One other thing I recommend installing is an in-bed 7-way, like # PK11893-11932, if you don't currently have one. This will allow you to easily connect your 5th wheel's 7-way cable to your Ram without putting a bunch of pressure on the cable or 7-way on the back of your Ram.
