I have a 2005 Snow bear utility trailer 4x6. Looking to replace the wheel bearings. Not sure where to start the tag says 1,980 lbs? I have a VIN # if that helps.

Based on what you've stated you most likely have a 2000lb axle with a straight spindle that measures 1" in diameter and would simply need two of the Replacement Trailer Hub Bearing # L44643 for each side. That being said without actually seeing the bearing number or measuring the spindle we won't know for sure.
Start be disassembling the hub and see if your spindle is straight and if you can still read the bearing numbers on the outer bearing. If not, then you'll just need to measure the spindle at points C and D from the diagram below with a digital caliper # PTW80157. If you end up not having a 1" diameter I'll need to know the exact measurement you get to find the correct replacement bearings. You'll want to be very exact since there are quite a few different sizes all within a very close range.
If you have any other questions or need help replacing other parts and a more detailed walkthrough then let me know and I'd be happy to help you out.
