How To Choose the Correct Replacement Axle for a Lowe Boat Trailer

Question:

Im looking for a replacement axle for a Lowe boat trailer, 2012 Karavan LB2200-70-17. The only info on the axle that I can find is a number ... 0-02344 LOWE-BL, AA01776 NON-Brake. The only sure measurement I have is 68 inches from center spring holes. The other measurements I came up with were estimated as: 86 overall and 75 between brake flanges. Would you have anything that I could use?

In order to choose the correct replacement axle for a trailer you'll first want to start with the weight capacity. The weight capacity can be found on the axle tag in the center of the beam. Then, you'll need to measure the hub face (center of hub face to center of hub face) and spring center (center of spring center to center of spring center). This will then give you the info needed to pick out the correct replacement axle for your trailer. I have also attached a video I did to help others with this same thing so be sure to give that a watch.

The Trailer Axle Beam part # e38GR for example is a 3,500 lb axle which measures measures 89" long at the hub face and 74" at the spring center. I have attached a full list of all our other axles you can choose from once you have the info above.
