Question:
I have a 2021 Grand Design Transcend Xplor 260rb travel trailer camper. I’d like to replace the leaf springs along with hangers and shackles. Can you recommend the proper springs and replacement hardware? Thanks, Bryan

Hi Bryan; I can help you find these parts but we are going to need some more information. Start by looking at your axle tag to see what your axle capacity is. It looks like the 2021 Grand Design Transcend 260RB XPLOR can have 3,500 or 4,400 lb axles. After that, you will need to measure your leaf springs, shackles, and hangers.
I attached some help articles below for your reference. One explains how to measure your leaf springs and the other covers all suspension components and how to measure them. The shackles are going to be bolt hole to bolt hole on center and the hanger is from the center of the bolt hole to the top of the hanger. Keep in mind, hanger replacement will require cutting and welding. These typically aren't replaced unless damaged.
Once you have these measurements you can add them to the comments below and I will see what is available. Were you looking to upgrade to heavy duty shackles and wet bolts? I saw you looked at the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit. I can at least tell you for that you need # MR46ZR if your measurement is 2-1/4" or # MR76ZR if it is 3-1/8". Let me know what you find.

Hi there, I finally got the measurements of my trailer suspension components. My axles are 3500lbs capacity. Leaf springs are 26” bolt hole to bolt hole. Equalizers are 5 3/4” long Shackle straps are 2 1/4” I would like to upgrade to wet bolts. The equalizers are pretty rusty but not sure if I need to upgrade those. Anything you’d recommend? I was looking at leaf springs and I I wasn’t finding a lot of options for 26” with 3500lb rating. Again, anything you recommend? Thanks!
