Expert Reply:
In theory, yes the Titan BrakeRite SD Adapter for Ford/Chevy Integral Brake Controllers # T4845900 could replace the Hydrastar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Adapter Module for Ford and Chevy Brake Controllers # HBA-CAM. You would just need to cut off the plugs on the Titan BrakeRite SD Adapter for Ford/Chevy Integral Brake Controllers # T4845900 and splice it in.
However, even after doing so you may still experience issues with the integrated brake controller on your truck. We have had a lot of feedback from previous customers saying that even after installing the SD Adapter for Ford/Chevy Integral Brake Controllers, they still experienced issues. The integrated brake controllers tend to have a hard time with electric-over-hydraulic brakes.
If you want to eliminate that headache or install the adapter and find that is the case, I recommend going with an aftermarket brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195.
