Question:

I am interested in 2 axles similar to your Item #8327816, except 85” long, 68.5” spring spacing, E-Z lube, over slung. Can you tell me if this is available?

The Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles - 86-1/2" Long - 5,200 lbs # 8327816 is the closest option available. The hub face to hub face measurement is only 1-1/2" more than your current setup, which won't cause any issues.

The main thing to look at and match up EXACTLY is the spring seat to spring seat spacing. Since you need 68-1/2" spacing, and this axle provides 71-1/2" spacing, you will need to cut the spring seats off and move them to the appropriate spot for your trailer (I recommend having an experienced welder or trailer builder accomplish this).

You will also need U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 7" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-8.
