Question:
Hi guys! I just wanted to verify that the Curt Echo Wireless brake controller will work with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit before I buy it. My jeep has a tow package installed, but does not have a brake controller, so I thought this would be a great option. And is it literally as simple as plug and play for the most part? I also wanted to ask if this weight transfer hitch is a good choice for pulling an RV Trailer that already has sway control? The tongue weight of the RV Trailer is 700 pounds, so I figured this was perfect. Thanks for the help! First time towing so I wanted to make sure I have this all done right

Yes, The Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180 is confirmed to fit your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit.
This Bluetooth-enabled brake controller will wirelessly connect to your smart phone, turning your phone into a brake control interface. It has a fast, plug-and-play installation. The controller has a triple-axis accelerometer which is highly responsive to ensure a smooth, uniform stopping action.
Even though you have a sway control on your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee using The Curt MV Weight Distribution System # C17051 will help make your ride smoother and prevent less sway.
When picking out a weight distribution system, you need to choose one that is as close as possible to your fully loaded tongue weight. With your tongue weight being 700 pounds The Curt weight distribution system will work great for you.
The system can haul a tongue weight between 600 to 800 pounds, and has a maximum gross towing weight up to 8,000 pounds. The system has a powder coated steel which will help with corrosion.
The 2-5/16 in Hitch Ball # C40030 or the 2 inch hitch ball # A-90 is needed and is sold separately.
