Troubleshooting a Fogatti Tankless Water Heater That is Always Too Hot

Question:

I had this installed by a professional and found the unit gets to jot matter what I have it set to. I can set the thermostat to 95 and it will still heat to 140+. Fogatti mentioned using a mixing valve in the manual but when I watched the installation video didnt do that. How do I fix this problem?

The Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater # LSB64FR does require the Camco RV Water Heater Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve # CAM10423 to be installed.

The Camco RV Water Heater Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve # CAM10423 protects your RV's water heater from excessive temperature and water pressure. If this was not installed, that would be why your water heater is always too hot and you would want to have it installed.

@Damon I don't know what water heater you have but is there any type of temperature adjustment on it?

@Damon So tankless water heaters are a little odd...and maybe you know this. But the longer the water is in the heater the hotter it gets so turning the hot water setting to higher on your knob might be what you need to get cooler water. So basically try using your water knob in reverse and see if that makes a difference.
