Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I have a 2015 ford 350 that for what ever reason did not come with the battery charging set up on the seven pin. it is not installed in the truck. How could I wire this to get the seven pin to charge the battery in my RV. Ford said they have no idea or after market product which will do this. Thanks

The 12-V feed to the 1:00 pin on the 7-way is protected by 2 fuses in the engine compartment fuse box, so I'd make sure those are in place and not blown first. Look for a 40A fuse in location # 10 and a 25A fuse in location # 90.
Some of the lower-level optioned Ford trucks simply don't have those fuse locations wired. If that's the case with your truck, you'll need to run your own feed from the 7-way up to the battery. We offer a kit that includes the wire, circuit breaker and hardware to do this, part # RM-156-75.
I'll link to a video that explains the installation.

Mike, your response saved me a lot of time. I was able to confirm that I had existing fuses in #10 and #90 and found the 25A in #90 was blown. Thank you again. 2015 F350 Lariat 6.7 Powerstroke
