Troubleshooting ERROR - Retract Timeout - Error on Lippert Ground Control 3.0
Published 10/04/2021 >
Question:
My 2017 Thor Hurricane had a dead battery. I replaced the battery and now the LCI Leveling system panel is flashing “***Error*** Retract timeout and then “Return Leveler for Service. Nothing is working to automatically or manually put the jacks down ???

To clear that error code you will need to press and hold the "Enter" and "Retract" buttons on the bottom left of the controller for your Ground Control 3.0 # LC358590 for about 3 seconds.
While this will clear the code, it looks like this code indicates that you have a fluid pressure leak so you'll want to make sure you investigate that or have your 2017 Thor Hurricane looked at ASAP. It could be that the dead battery caused the controller to freak out a little and throw a code, but it's better to check and find nothing than to not look into it and be stuck - especially since you aren't able to move your jacks manually. That's probably the most concerning part.
