Replacement Lock and Keys for UWS Toolboxes

I would like to know if a replacement lock and key are identical to the original or do they have a different cut to keep to original key form being used in the event the original key is lost or stolen.

There are several different lock and key replacements for UWS toolboxes and each one is different from the next. There is a chance you could end up with the same lock and key that you already have on the box but you would just need to order a different number than what is printed on the lock face or key to get a completely different set.

For example, if you ordered # UWSLOCKCH503 you would get a lock and keys for CH503. I have included part links to all of the replacements we have for UWS toolboxes with square paddle handles.

are all the cylinders the same except the key number. My cylinder has CH518 on it. the truck box has a Continental Truck accessories tag on it. The box is at least 30 yrs old. It does have the square paddle handles. I only seen one of the cylinders that had measurements an that was very close to what I have.

All of the UWS Lock Cylinders, which I've linked below, are the same size. The difference is simply the specific key number that they work with.

I recommend replacing the cam locks on the toolbox with some new ones especially if the keys to yours are floating around out there somewhere! We have cam lock #CAM44340 that uses a flat key (2 keys included) and it is 5/8 inches thick.
