Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a replacement lock cylinder for your UWS toolboxes with the square paddle handles only, specifically key to CH508. So again, folks, this will replace one quantity one damaged lock cylinder on your UWS toolbox, again, only with the square paddle handles. It does not work with the drawer style slides, the dog boxes, T-handles, or the push-button locks. So again, only with the square paddle handles. As you can see here, you get two keys.
They're engraved on the key surface, CH508. And they match the corresponding lock. Simply lock or unlock by twisting the key. Again, you get quantity one lock core and two keys, key to CH508. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

So I drove off and left my toolbox keys on the truck bed railing so lost to the wind they were. I first started out trying to take the lock apart and rekey it myself using some YouTube videos as instruction. This was of course not near as easy as all these videos showed. These cylinders don't come apart as easy as they showed. I found this replacement cylinder on etrailer.com, ordered it, and it showed up to my house 3 days later. Within 5 minutes, it was installed and working perfectly. My only complaint is I paid for 2 day shipping and it took 3 days to get here. That could have just been that it shipped late on the afternoon I bought it and it's a minor issue for sure. Overall, very happy with this purchase and I'd shop etrailer.com again in a heartbeat.

Great lock fit right in to place. Works amazing. Shipping took a little longer than expected would be 5 stars if shipping was a but faster. Hard to keep $1,000 of tools unlocked for about 2 weeks

Ordered a UWS toolbox lock and two keys. Received the lock and keys within a few days and was able to track its shipment as promised. Had the lock mounted and operating within 5 minutes. Couldn't be happier with the product or service provided.

This replacement lock cylinder and keys are exactly as described and work perfectly. I highly recommend etrailer.com. Shipping was extremely fast and their prices are the best I could find online. This was a perfect replacement for the lock that was on trailer tool box, Winter had taken its toll and could no longer get it to open well. Under 2 min to replace with wrench , is same key number so current keys work and now have 2 spares .
