I checked with Thule, and the correct replacement clamps for a Thule Ascent 1700 cargo box are the Quick Grip clamps:
- Replacement Quick Grip Mount Assembly - Thule Ascent, Atlantis, and Force Cargo Box - Qty 1 # TH05738
These are just the clamps so if you also need the cradle the correct part is the following:
