Which Fuse In 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500 Powers Dome Light In Enclosed Trailer?
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I have no dome light in my enclosed trailer. Which fuse on a 21 silverado
asked by: Tony
Expert Reply:
The light in enclosed trailers like your dome light are typically powered by the 12v power pin on the 7-way connector.
In your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 that would be fuse number 63 in the engine bay fuse box so check to make sure that fuse is in place and not blown.
If it is not blown then check that the 7-way connector on both your trailer and vehicle do not have any debris or corrosion that can cause power to not make it to the light.
Lastly if the connectors look good then use a circuit tester # PTW2993 to check the wire going to the dome light in your trailer to see if it is getting power. If it has power the issue if your dome light and the bulb will need to be replaced.
