Location of Brake Controller Connector on 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500
Question:
2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 hd were to plug in after market brake controller

Expert Reply:
The brake controller/tow package connector is located in the black junction box on the firewall above where the driver's left foot would sit and behind the e-brake pedal. You'll need to remove the cover from the junction box, the connector is located in the left-hand row of slots, below the blue plug at the top as shown in the linked install video and the photo I provided.
If you use a Tekonsha # 90195 P3 brake controller like the one you'd looked at, you'll also need the # 3016 brake control harness in addition to a Tekonsha controller.
