Receiver Hitch Recommendations For A 2021 Flagstaff E-Pro 19 FBS

Updated 05/22/2024 | Published 06/01/2021

Question:

I need to replace the bumper of my 21 Flagstaff EPRO 19 FBS. I need to know if there is a replacement for my factory stock bumper in order to add a receiver hitch for my bike rack? Thanks Arnold

To add a receiver hitch for a bike rack you'll actually connect the hitch to frame of your RV and not use the bumper as most aren't rated to hold the weight of a bike rack and bikes. You'll need to measure from beam to beam to see what frame distance you have.

The Multi-Fit Motorhome Trailer Hitch, 24" - 46" wide Item # 5350 you linked to will attach to a frame distance of 24" to 46".

We also offer the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 18"-51" Wide - 2" Drop - Class III - 2" Item # C13701 if you have a larger frame distance than 46".

If you have a distance greater than 51" we offer the Ultra-Fab 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver for Trailer Frames Item # UF35-946403 but this hitch only has a tongue weight capacity of 350lbs and isn't rated to tow anything.

Is there a recommended Bolt On equivalent to the Ultra-Fab 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver? We would be putting ~120lbs worth of bikes or cargo on the back

@PeterF We offer a few different bolt-on options, like the Draw-Tite Multi-Fit Motor Home Trailer Hitch # 82201. This hitch fits frame widths 47" - 71" wide and has a 3,500lb towing capacity/350lb tongue weight capacity.
