Question:
I have a class C Ford E350 with duals. I like the 195125 as the tube doesn’t have the few inch for the tow vehicle, has the wing nut to tighten in place. But as I’ve read the tire can’t be mounted close to vehicle as the out tube is too short. It has to be mounted sticking out back. The 195225 looks like the flat part of the rim can be mounted close to vehicle but it has the which is undesirable as my rig 27.5 ft and I want all the height I can get. Do you make a bolt on plate for the 195125 that could help the out tube fit the depth of the Ford dually wheel? Or would I have to cobble something? Seems like a lot of money to have to cobble.

To use the Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195125 with your 2020 Ford E-350 Class C spare tire you can use a wheel spacer mounted to the carrier to allow the wheel to fit on the mount with the tire reversed on the carrier. I have seen that the mount has been used with the dual tire mounted with the hub face toward the vehicle.
On the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195225 you can use a Roadmaster High-Low Adapter # RM-048-4 to raise the carrier higher to achieve the ground clearance that you desire. With the adapter it would then sit higher than the # RM-195125 and it will allow you to have the mount bracket that you like.
