Recommended Tire To For 900lb Trailer With 4.80-8 Tires

Question:

here is a close up of the tire that’s on it now, but the on the specification plate it says the wheel is 4.80x8. Can you recommend a tire that will carry at least 900lbs (max for this trailer)!going down a freeway in Ca.

Absolutely!

To replace the 4.80-8 tires on your trailer I recommend going with the Kenda K371 Bias Trailer Tire - 4.80/4.00-8 - Load Range C # AM10004 which have a load rating of 745lbs per tire at 90 PSI so you will have no issues with your trailer that weighs in at 900lbs, and is perfect for use on the freeway.
