We have exactly the parts you are looking for.
Starting with the winch I recommend the Bulldog Winch Standard Series Off-Road Winch - Synthetic Rope # BDW10046 would be a great option that has the 12000lb rating you are looking for, and automatic mechanical brake will hold 100% of the load to minimize winch creep.
For a quick disconnect connection I recommend the Bulldog Winch Front Wiring Kit # BDW20205 if you are planning on mounting the winch to the front of your vehicle, or the Bulldog Winch Rear Wiring Kit # BDW20207 if you are planning on mounting the winch at the rear of the vehicle or on a trailer.
Both of these wiring kits use 2 gauge wire which is made for powering heavy duty winches, and would be the best option as 175 amp wiring would be too small for a 12000lb winch. Both of these kits have quick disconnects allowing you to disconnect the winch when it is not in use to prevent any possible battery draining issues.
If you can tell me where you are planning on mounting the winch, and the Year/Make/Model of your vehicle I would be happy to recommend a front mount hitch and mounting plate for you.
I included a video for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
