Question:
I have a 1993 Subaru Sambar pickup from Japan. I need to add a roof rack to the truck but there is no rain gutter or other attachable area on the roof. Are there universal racks available for a situation like that? Thank you!

Depending on how long you roof is on your 1993 Subaru Sambar the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells part # Y02-480B would be a great solution. This will allow you to install tracks on the roof of your rig then add the crossbars to that connection point.
Generally we see these installed on camper shells or toppers but we have installed them to the roof line as well. This is really the only option I have available out side of the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack part # 298-SX6000B which are very sturdy and don't require modifying the vehicle.
