Question:
Hi, I bought a 4x8 Ironton foldable trailer from Northern Tool that I intend to make a kayak trailer. I’ll never fold the trailer, but I’m looking to upgrade the trailer lights while I’m building the trailer. What light kit would you recommend? I’ll never submerge the trailer in water if that matters. Thank you

The trailer light kit I recommend for your 4x8 trailer is the Optronics Submersible, Under 80" Trailer Light Kit with 25' Wiring Harness # TL5RK. This is an incandescent light kit. If you prefer LED lights then the LED Combination Tail Light Kit for Trailers under 80" Wide - Submersible - Driver and Passenger # TLL56RK is the route to go. Even though you don't plan on submerging the trailer in water, the option is there and the sealed light housings are more durable.
