Landing Gear Recommendation for my 1996 Alpenlite 5th Wheel Camper
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
Im trying to find the make/model to replace landing gear for this trailer. It seams like the drive gear is going out one side. I would like to replace both sides with a complete newer style. Any suggestions?

For ease of installation the Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set part # LG-3 is what I would recommend it is set up with the standard weld stops fpund on most campers but also includes new brackets should you have to have them changed slightly. With one motor to wire it makes the job much easier as well.
I also recommend at least looking at the Spring-Loaded Pull Pins for Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear part # LG-119113. These make using the landing gear very easy because you're just pulling a pin to deploy them rather than a pin and clip to install each time.
I've included the videos I made on each of these for you to check out.
