Can a 205/75-14 Size Tire Replace a 205/70-14 Size Tire

Can I use 205/75-14 in place of 205/70-14

As long as the 205/70-14 tires still have plenty of space between them and the fenders you an upgrade to a 205/75-14 tire like part # AM10256.

The larger tire is the same width but it's about 3/4 of an inch larger in diameter so you need to make sure you'll still have at least 3 to 4 inches between the tire's tread and the underside of the fenders.

Im running 205 -75 14 i need to replace a tire in the back passanger but the only tire i have is a 205 - 70 14 is that gonna be cool for a whyle cuz im flat broke cant buy new tire

@MattD Hey there, so while those are very close numbers, the 205/75/14 is still about .8 inches larger in diameter which is pretty substantial. While you may be fine for a very short distance and short while, I cannot recommend doing that as it makes it unsafe and also can cause premature wear on your bearings, hubs, tires, and even brakes. So in the end, you may be able to get by for awhile but I'd try and get those tires matching asap. Good luck Matt. FYI the most affordable 205/75R14 we have at the moment is # AM1ST52.
