First, you will want to make sure you are using the correct size Bearing Buddy Bra for your application.
We have three bearing buddy bras available,
Replacement Bearing Buddy Bras # BB17B has a diameter of 2 inches
Replacement Bearing Buddy Bras # BB19B has a diameter of 2.125 inches
Replacement Bearing Buddy Bras # BB23B has a diameter of 2.441 inches
The # BB23B you mentioned is sized to fit Bearing Buddies that fit hub bores ranging from 2.240 inches to 2.562 inches, or model #s BB2328, BB2328SS, BB2441, BB2441SS, BB2717, BB2717SS, BB2562, BB2562SS, BB2240 and BB2240SS.
If you have the correct part number you will then want to apply a light coat of grease to the bearing buddy to help aid in installing the bra. The bra is a snug fit so you will want to apply pressure to both sides equally to get it to slide down over the bearing buddy.
