Question:
I have a 2011 BMW X3 that had a CURT S0608U-R1 wire converter harness installed. It’s not operating properly now 6 years later... I can’t find a replacement. All other harnesses have 6 wires... battery, marker, left, right, brake and ground. The Curt model I have has 5... battery, left, right, brake/marker combined, and ground. Do you have something like that. I tried to add a hopkins but the model I bought has separate brake and marker lights and no battery tie in and my vehicle doesn’t support that. Can’t get the marker lights to work.

Expert Reply:
The style of converter box you are looking for is a separate to combined converter box like the Roadmaster part # RM-732. This is the same style of converter you have now and will work well.
