Question:
What is the best approach to removing this completely. I recently bought a Toyota Tundra and I won’t be towing anything so I’d like to remove the entire device.

To remove the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 you simply need to detach the harness at the rear of the brake controller. Once that is removed you can tuck the harness up under your dash with some zip ties andthe uninstall the bracket that holds the brake controller as well.
If you jump to the 2:17 mark of the attached video you can see our team member installing the bracket and connecting the harness. Just do what he does but in reverse order and you are good to go!
