Installing the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 on a 2016 Porsche Cayenne

Question:
I have a P3 that Im transferring over from a 2002 Sequoia to a 16 diesel Cayenne. Ive already picked up the parts from the VW dealership. But, Im not sure about the open relay you recommend. Ive seen a review on another website where it appears a P3 was installed without the relay without any problems. What happens to the screen if I do not install the relay? Do you have any videos showing installation of the relay? Im not sure where to connect the relay to ground and to a volt source. Thanks!

What we have found is that sometimes when installing the Prodigy P3 # 90195 on a 2005-Current Porsche Cayenne there are times when the display of the P3 may become erratic. We recommend installing a 12V normally open relay to fix this issue. You don't necessarily have to install the relay, but it will help to prevent the screen on your P3 from doing goofy things.
Unfortunately we do not yet have a video of the relay being installed, but I have attached a helpful article and some pictures from that article to help assist you in the installation.

I have a 2016 Porsche Cayenne Turbo and tow a 27' Airstream trailer (1972 Overlander). 1. Is the Prodigy P3 a good match for my vehicle and trailer 2. If so, do I need any special parts from the dealer. 3. Do you sell the Normally Open relay you recommended to eliminate erratic screen behavior Thank you!
