Comm Error for Lippert Ground Control 3.0

Question:

My Lippert 3.0 ground control system touch pad has an error reading that says “Comm error - check wiring.” When I press the On/Off button nothing happens. I have disconnected the power to the touch pad and the wiring harness controller and still nothing happens. I disconnected the batteries and disconnected the power to the entire camper. Is there anything else I can try?

When your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 # LC358590 has a reading that says "Comm Error" it is referring to the communication between the controller and touch pad. You will need to check your harness to ensure it is connected properly and there is no damage; if it is damaged and cannot be repaired then the harness would need to be replaced.
