Bow and Stern Tie-Down Connection Points on a 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon
Products Featured in This Question
Question:
I just purchased a 2017 Subaru Outback and a Yakima Sweetroll kayak carrier. I don’t see a place on the vehicle to hook the bow tie-down strap. What do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
A solution for you to connect the bow tie-down on your Yakima SweetRoll # Y04074 is to use etrailer tie down kit # e36ZR. These provide mounting points in either the front or rear of your 2017 Subaru Outback Wagon by installing directly under the hood or rear hatch.
I've included a video for you to take a look at.
