Tow Dolly Tire Pressure Recommendation for Tow Dolly with 205/65-10 Tires
Published 08/19/2016 >
Question:
I have a set of 205/65-10 tires on my tow dolly that I use to tow a Honda CR-V vehicle weight is 3,358 to 3,624 lbs. Since only the two front tires are up on the dolly, what is the proper inflation pressure? The max load on the tire sidewall is listed as 1,650 lbs at 90 psi. Any advice is sincerely appreciated. Thanks!

If the tow dolly uses ST rated tires (which most likely it does), then you need to keep the tire pressure at it's max psi to ensure you get the full capacity and prevent heat buildup.
You will know if the tire is ST rated by checking out the size listed on the sidewall. It should begin with the letters ST.
Based on the size of your tire and the weight capacity it has it sounds like you have a Load Range E ST205/65-10 like the part # AM1HP56.
