Question:
I have a 2006 model 1648 Featherlite enclosed trailer and am looking to put a spring assist for rear door. Can you help in telling me which one would work please?

The spring needed will depend on the inside width of the trailer and the weight of the door. I looked online found that the Featherlite 1648 is 8 feet 6 inches wide.
I'd recommend the # CB250D96SHD from M-3 Industries. The assembly is 8 foot long, and has a 250 lb capacity, which should work well for your trailer.
Unless you have experience installing torsion springs, please leave the installation of this spring to a professional.
