Difference Between Tire Sizes 4:80/4.00-8 and 4:80-8
Question:
Can you explain the difference between these two tire sizes, which appear to be very similar. I have several tires which are either 4:80/4.00-8 or 4:80-8 on the same sized steel rim that I can use on my boat trailer. What is the difference and can I interchange these tires on my trailer? Thanks

The tire size 4.80/4.00-8 actually covers two sizes, 4.80 and 4.00-8. So to answer your question; there is not difference at all.
The part # AM10002 would work well for you.
