Question:
I need a few recommendations for the smallest tire that could be used, at highway speeds, on a very small trailer. I also need the overall diameter for these tires. Thanks ! ! !

The special trailer (ST) tires will have a maximum speed rating of 65 miles per hour, unless stated otherwise on the tire. It is not recommended to run a trailer tire at a higher speed than 65 miles per hour due to the heat buildup that will occur inside the tire and cause the tire to break down and cause the tire to fail.
The smallest 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern tire and wheel we sell is Kenda 4.80/4.00-8 Tire with 8 Inch Wheel, part # AM30020. It has an overall diameter of 16.1 inches.
The next size up is a Kenda 165/65-8 Tire with 8 Inch Wheel, part # AM3H200. It has an overall diameter of 16.5 inches.
To give you the best recommendation, I need to know the bolt pattern on your trailer and the weight capacity of the trailer. I am including a link to some FAQ pages that will show you the overall diameters of our tires and how to measure the bolt pattern on your trailer.
