Which Base Plate for 2016 Chevy Traverse with Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar with Blue Ox Adapter

Question:

I have a roadmaster sterling tow bar. It came with the round steel pins that twist lock into the base plate on the vehicle and are released by pulling a metal ring and twisting the pin out to remove it. What base plate do I need to use this on a 2016 Traverse / and what fuse disconnect kit do I need for this car.

From the photo you provided it looks like your Roadmaster Sterling tow bar # RM-576 has adapters for Blue Ox base plates installed # BX88262, so you'll want to use the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1706. These Blue Ox base plates will connect to the Sterling tow bar that you've shown.

The fuse bypasses you'll need for a 2016 Chevy Traverse are the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch for Towed Vehicles - (2) 20-Amp ATC/ATO Fuses # RM76514 for the ATO/ATC fuses and the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch for Towed Vehicles - 50-Amp FMX Fuse # RM-76517 to bypass the FMX fuse.

I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to check out, but if you need any other components like tow bar wiring, supplemental braking or safety cables to complete your flat towing setup I've gone ahead and linked the options for those to this answer as well. I've also linked a helpful article on how to determine if you'll need a high/low adapter to keep your tow bar flat while towing.
