Randy: Hey guys, it's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at a '19 Cherokee rear wiper replacement. No we're using a clear plus 14 inch wiper blade as our replacement. This is going to be a really good alternative for these harder to find type rear wiper blades. Especially beats going to the dealership and paying the high prices that they're going to charge. Let's start by getting this one removed, so you have an idea how that's going to work.
We want to start right here at the base of the arm. We're going to pull this cover out just slightly and allow that to come up and out of the way. When we do that, that allows us to pull our wiper arm up much farther than we could when this was closed.At that point, we just need to rotate our blade. It's going to come to a stop point right here. We want to rotate past there.
And then it's just a matter of wiggling it and pulling it straight towards you. We'll get that one out of the way. We want to use our clear plus blade, and we're going to need to use the RA adapter that's going to come with it, it's labeled right here. RA. And you'll notice there in the side is a little circle.
And I have one of those on each side. Little circular tab that sticks up anyway. That needs to go right into the hooks that you can see there on the blade. So we'll bet that down close. We got our two tabs here, we'll squeeze those.
Just slide that in so it clicks in position. At that part it's attached to our wiper. Now we're going to take the narrower gap, that's going to go in and towards.You can see the slot right here. That's where that crossbar slides into. So we get that crossbar slid in. And once we do, it's just a matter or rotating it down. Just like that. At that point it's attached. Let that come rest down on our window, and close that up. Now we use . or they use a steel backing on our blade. And we have good flexible contact points here. You can see that helps it to contour to our window once it's down. There's a Maui Bendem coating that's been put on the blade itself. So as this wipes, we're not going to have to worry about that chattering effect. And they've also used a micro line. So at the end of the blade, you can feel just a little bit of resistance. That helps insure we don't have any streaks or anything like that after our wiper's been used. So we'll take just a second, we'll use the rear washer here to give you an idea of what it looks like in action.As you can see it does a really good job. I don't see any streaking or anything like that anywhere. All in all, it's going to be an excellent solution for replacing that rear wiper on your 2019 Jeep Cherokee.

The product is great. But the packaging is ridiculous. 1 wiper blade at 12" long that's in a box 3' long by 6"x6" with some paper in it. talk about over kill.

The product was as versatile and high quality as advertised. The directions showed pictures of which adapter to use for a Type A Arm (picture 1). However adapter "A" did not fit since the notch was too short. However adapter "B" worked perfectly as shown (picture 2).

Worked well at first, then after a freezing snow, the rubber froze and warped I guess and it didn't wipe clearly at all. I also had the front wipers-said they were "scrubbing" wipers...kept smearing when they wiped.
Went to [store] and bought my usual wipers...much better!
This was sad because I have been happy with everything else I have ever gotten at etrailer. Unfortunately, they do not take items back once they've been used or even placed on a vehicle (which I find irritating).

They are still working well after a year and I am thinking I will probably be good through most of winter before I need to replace them.

It was great that I was able to get the hard to find back wiper for my 2013 Edge. Evidently some of the auto stores carry it and I'm sure the dealership does- but I have a hard time spending over $30 for a wiper blade. etrailer had one for the best price anywhere and the shipping was extremely reasonable - in fact I'm not sure how it was that reasonable in the big box it came in :)...but I'm not complaining. It was delivered quickly and it was nice to have a wiper working again on the back!

Delivery, speed and quality packaging was fast and top notch. It is a great experience to shop from etrailer.
The blade is a great value. I went for the cheap because I went for the expensive option before (Michelin) and it did not last or perform any better that the cheapest alternative in the heat of Texas. Make sure you watch a video for the rear wiper for the Prius as it is a little trickier to switch than the front ones.

It's just what I was looking for. I didn't want to spend $50 on a wiper blade from the dealership. This was a great alternative. It can with 2 days of purchasing it and it was super easy to install.

Arrived in a box about 10x larger than it needed to be, but that is not a problem. There was adequate packing.
Installed in about 30 seconds, in exactly the way shown in the videos.
It is a bit lighter than the original, but looks ok.
No rain today (which is something of a miracle) so couldn't really give it a realistic test, but see no reason why it should not work perfectly.

The box was crushed on one side but the wiper wasn’t damaged. It went on easily with the supplied correct adapter . I haven’t been able to test it yet but looks like it will work fine.
