Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at these Putco Metal Amber LED Type 1157 bulbs. These replacement type 1157 bulbs are designed for use with your turn signals. And to confirm if these bulbs will work for your vehicle, take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com and input the year, make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will let you know if these will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now let me go ahead and hook these up to my power source here just to show you what they look like lit up and how bright they are. These high intensity LEDs are going to give you more light than your factory bulbs, emitting a 360 degree light around the factory bulbs.
Let me get my connections correct here. There we go. And so, this is going to increase the brightness and visibility over your factory bulbs. Let me go ahead and turn my lights off here real quick. And again, you can just see just how bright these are.
Each bulb has 15 diodes that have a light output of 500 lumens. And then I'm gonna go for a wide view here real quick, and just kind of shine this up against my wall. Again, this is kind of a precarious setup here, so I'm just trying to hold the wires as still as I can. But you can see just how bright these are. These 10 watt bulbs use much less power than your standard incandescent bulbs.
They're going to burn cooler and run up to 50,000 hours. So going ahead and turning my lights back on, give you another close up here real quick. And I'm gonna go ahead and turn that off and before I blind you here. Now the copper core is going to maintain efficient heat control and powerful light output. And the large base series also features a solid aluminum frame for additional thermal management.
These bulbs feature error-free performance with CANbus. They will not trigger any warning lights. They are EMC compliant.
